Reviews from Our Customers

“I was desperately looking for someone to come in and provide my Grandpa’s new helper with basic caregiver’s training before she officially starts her training that is scheduled much later. Homage was the only agency that went out of the way to expedite my request and the Nurse that was tagged to us was very very very helpful and professional. Really appreciate the work that Homage does for the community!”

– Martha Soh, Google Review

“A very good option for an extra hand to care for elderly. My mum was discharged from hospital & she needed extra hands on top of my helper as she is bedridden. So far all carers are very patient and helpful. Will definitely need them in future and will recommend them to my family & friends.”

– Kian Chong Chur, Google Review

Excellent service provided by the professional nurses. Very prompt follow up and arrangements made once you have created an account with them. I would strongly recommend Homage to those who need home personal care and nursing as they ease the load of family members.”

What to expect during a home nursing visit

  • Before the visit, let us know the existing healthcare products available at home for the nursing procedure
  • If you do not have the appropriate products or tools required for the procedure, our private nurse will prepare the appropriate medical products required to carry out the nursing procedure
  • Our nurse will visit your home, and check on your loved one’s past medical history
  • Nursing procedures and care will be carried out in the comfort of your home

“I prepare by reading up on the case beforehand […] After the visit, I plan the sequence of what to do for the next visit at the patient’s house, and document down what I have done or what I found during my visit.” — Care Pro Siti Nuraishakirin Mahmood, Registered Nurse

Why should I engage a private nurse?

With a private nurse, care recipients can receive professional nursing care in familiar surroundings. This can reduce stress and help the care recipients feel more at ease, which aids in their recovery.

By hiring a private nurse who can bring care to your doorstep, you can also save the hassle and cost of travelling, and skip long queues at hospitals and clinics.

What are Homage nursing care packages?

We have interim to longer-term nursing care packages with varying care durations so that you and your loved one can find a care package which best fits your needs and preferences. Our nursing care packages can also help you save up to 20% for multiple care sessions. Reach out to our Care Advisors at 6100 0055 for more details.

What services can a private nurse provide?

Besides supporting you with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), our qualified and trained private nurses can perform nursing procedures in the comfort of your home. This includes:

How quickly can I get a private nurse?

We aim to match a Care Pro to your requested visit within 2-3 days. For bookings made 1-2 days before the visit date, we will try our best to match a Care Pro.

What is the minimum duration for a nursing visit?

The duration of a Homage care visit by our private nurses starts from just one hour, depending on your loved one’s nursing care needs and the family’s preferences.

Who are Homage's private nurses?

Private nurses at Homage are enrolled or registered nurses with valid Practicing Certificates from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and have at least 1 year of ward experience.

Our licensed private nurses are 100% local and come from different walks of life, each with unique specialisations and care experiences. But they all have one common trait – a passion and dedication to delivering quality nursing care to families and care recipients.

Does Homage provide live-in private nurses?

We currently provide 24-hour care but do not have live-in nurses or caregivers.

For our 24-hour care, two Homage nurses or caregivers will be scheduled for the visits. Care will be split into 12-hour shifts to support you and your loved one round-the-clock each day.

Are there subsidies if I engage a private nurse?

Yes, you can apply for financial subsidy under the Home Caregiving Grant to defray the cost of hiring a private nurse. Learn more about the eligibility criteria and application process via the Agency for Integrated Care website.

Can 1 nurse care for 2 people at the same time?

To ensure you or your loved one receives undivided attention and care, each care recipient will be matched to a dedicated Homage nurse who fits their needs and preferences.

If two individuals in the same home need care, a nurse will be present to care for each recipient respectively.
