Hello, I’m Alvin, a physiotherapist since 1993.

My passion is in the areas of geriatric and stroke rehabilitation. The joy of my profession comes from helping seniors to walk again.

I have worked also with national sportsmen and women during my various stints with hospitals and the Singapore Sports Council. Presently, I am a full-time home physiotherapist helping those who find it hard to get to rehab clinics. Being there to modify their home environment can help the seniors to adhere to the prescribed exercises. I also talk to them in a familiar language or dialects such as Hokkien and Teochew so that they feel comfortable during the therapy visits.

I believe in empowering patients who are undergoing this process of rehabilitating and encourage caregivers to be a part of this process so as to help their loved ones recover faster.
