Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS)
Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS)
The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) allows all Singapore Citizens to enjoy subsidised rates for medical and/or dental care at participating General Practitioner (GP) and dental clinics. If you are a Merdeka Generation (MG) or Pioneer Generation (PG) cardholder, you will also be eligible for this scheme.
All CHAS, MG and PG cardholders will also receive subsidised referrals to public Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOCs) and to the National Dental Centre Singapore and National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore*, if required.
If you are suffering from chronic conditions, CHAS complements the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), allowing you to use MediSave for outpatient treatments (for the same set of chronic conditions) covered under CHAS. Patients may also use their MediSave to offset part of the cost of the treatment of their chronic conditions. You may click here for more information.
In case of doubt, it is encouraged to check with your doctor or dentist on the estimated fees that will be charged prior to consultation as the treatment might vary depending on one’s condition. Click here for more details on the CHAS subsidy rates.
*Only for CHAS Blue, CHAS Orange, MG and PG cardholders
Benefits vary depending on the colour of your CHAS card. All Pioneer Generation (PG) and Merdeka Generation (MG) cardholders also receive subsidised rates at CHAS clinics.

All Singapore Citizens are eligible for CHAS. The benefits that you stand to enjoy will depend on your household monthly income per person or the Annual Value (AV) of the home, as outlined below:
|CHAS Criteria||CHAS Green||CHAS Orange||CHAS Blue|
|^Household monthly income per person (for households with income)||Above $2,000||$1,201 - $2,000||$1,200 and below|
|^^Annual Value (AV) of home (for households with no income)||Above $21,000||$13,001 - $21,000||$13,000 and below|
If you already have the Public Assistance (PA) card, you are already eligible to receive full CHAS subsidies by showing your PA card.
You may calculate your household monthly income per person here.
^ Household monthly income per person is the total gross household monthly income divided by total number of family members living together. Gross monthly income refers to your basic employment income, trade/self-employed income, overtime pay, allowances, cash awards, commissions, and bonuses.
^^ The AV of your home is the estimated annual rent if it is rented out. It is assessed by IRAS.

My mum’s helper was hospitalised suddenly and I needed urgent help to take care of my mum who has advanced dementia. Homage was able able to find caregivers for my mum within a very short notice. The caregivers possessed the skill sets that I had requested and were of great help to me in my time of need. Thank you Homage!
Homage CP render their professional service to my dad who is a dialysis patient. CP assigned to wheel my dad to & fro from Dialysis Center within 300m walking distance. They are capable to load & unload my dad from wheelchair independently. They are friendly too. I'm looking forward to their next visit.
Had a good experience with Homage's teleconsultation. The doctor is qualified, friendly and guided me on examination. She also explained my symptoms to me in detail, which is useful. The report provided has detailed information, and medicine was delivered to me on the same day even though my appointment was in the evening.
Response from Homage is fast. And the physiotherapist assigned is professional in assessing and guiding my mom in her session.
