Reviews from our customers

Nurse provided great training for my helper

“I was desperately looking for someone to come in and provide my Grandpa’s new helper with basic caregiver’s training before she officially starts her training that is scheduled much later. Homage was the only agency that went out of the way to expedite my request and the Nurse that was tagged to us was very very very helpful and professional. Really appreciate the work that Homage does for the community!”

Patient care given to my bedridden loved one

“A very good option for an extra hand to care for elderly. My mum was discharged from hospital & she needed extra hands on top of my helper as she is bedridden. So far all carers are very patient and helpful. Will definitely need them in future and will recommend them to my family & friends.”

– Kian Chong Chur, Google Review

Prompt and fuss-free nursing care arrangements

Excellent service provided by the professional nurses. Very prompt follow up and arrangements made once you have created an account with them. I would strongly recommend Homage to those who need home personal care and nursing as they ease the load of family members.”

What to expect during a home nursing visit

  • Before the visit, let us know the existing healthcare products available at home for the nursing procedure
  • If you do not have the appropriate products or tools required for the procedure, our Homage nurse will prepare the appropriate medical products required to carry out the nursing procedure
  • Nurse will visit your home, and check on your loved one’s past medical history
  • Nursing procedure and care will be carried out in the comfort of your home

“At the start of visits, I greet my clients and check in on any past medical/social history. Knowing important things like previous falls or traumas can go a long way in ensuring safety and quality service. After every visit, I prepare notes which are service-related to assist other CPs who are handling the case after me.”  — Care Pro Ralphael Lim, Registered Nurse

Top questions about Home Nursing

Service FAQ

What are the advantages of home nursing?

Home nursing allows care recipients to receive professional nursing care in familiar surroundings. This can reduce stress and help the care recipients feel more at ease, which aids in their recovery.

By bringing nursing care to your doorstep, you can also save the hassle and cost of travelling and skip long queues at hospitals and clinics.

Does Homage offer nursing care packages?

We have interim to longer-term nursing care packages with varying care durations so that you and your loved one can find a package which best fits your needs and preferences. Nursing care packages can also help you to save up to 20% for multiple care sessions. Reach out to our Care Advisors at 6100 0055 for more details.

What services are provided under home nursing?

Besides supporting you with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), both our licensed nurses and certified caregivers can perform procedures in the comfort of your home. This includes:

  • Nasogastric tube (NGT) feeding
  • Percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy (PEG) feeding
  • Urinary bag drainage
  • Blood glucose check

Other procedures our licensed nurses can carry out include:

  • Medication administration
  • Oral and open tracheostomy suctioning
  • Urine catheterisation for females
  • Stoma bag drainage and change
  • Injections, including intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, PICC, CVP and Port-A-Cath
  • Oxygen therapy, including mask, home ventilator, bilevel positive airway pressure (BIPAP) and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP)
  • Wound care
  • And more

Can 1 nurse care for 2 people at the same time?

To ensure you or your loved one receives undivided attention and care, each care recipient will be matched to a dedicated Homage nurse or caregiver who fits their needs and preferences.

If there are two individuals in the same home who need care, a nurse or caregiver will be present to care for each recipient respectively.

Who are the Homage Care Pros?

Homage’s nurses are enrolled or registered nurses with a valid Practicing Certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and have at least 1 year of ward experience.

Homage’s caregivers go through training, which includes emergency response, CPR & Basic Cardiac Life Support.

They are all local and come from different walks of life, each with unique specialisations and care experiences. But they all have one common trait – a passion and dedication to delivering quality nursing care to families and care recipients.

Does Homage provide live-in nurses?

We currently provide 24-hour care but do not have live-in nurses or caregivers.

For 24-hour care, two Homage nurses or caregivers will be scheduled for the visits. Care will be split into 12-hour shifts to support you and your loved one round-the-clock each day.

Are there subsidies for Homage’s home nursing services?

Yes, you can apply for financial subsidy to defray the cost of home nursing care services. Here is a list of Financial Assistance Schemes in Singapore, such as the Home Caregiving Grant, CareShield Life, and Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE) that might be helpful for you.

What is the minimum duration of a care session?

The duration of a Homage care session by our nurses or caregivers starts from just one hour, depending on the family’s preferences and your loved one’s nursing care needs.

How quickly will I receive the nursing care service?

We aim to match a Care Pro to your requested visit within 2-3 days. For bookings made 1-2 days before the visit date, we will try our best to match a Care Pro.
