We are updating our prices to bring you better quality home care. The price updates will take effect on 23 May 2022. 

Why are we making this change?

This update will allow us to deliver better quality care to you and your loved ones. With the update, we will be able to support our Care Professionals with consistent specialised trainings, and continue to provide incentives to Care Professionals who have shown dedication to delivering quality care.

In line with providing trainings and incentives to our Care Professionals to improve the quality of care, we will also be making incremental improvements to our systems so that you and your loved ones can have a more seamless care experience.

Shifting to the new pricing

As we shift to the revised pricing, you may have some questions regarding the purchase of our services. We hope to address any of your queries as early as possible with our price transition policy, which is applicable to our Personal Care, Personal Care and Simple Nursing as well as Speech Therapy services.

For customers on a la carte visits

If you have booked an ala-carte visit with us before 23 May 2022, you will be charged at the current prices regardless of when your visit is scheduled. 

Please note that if you were to change your visit booking after 23 May 2022, you will be charged at the revised prices for your visit. 

For customers with a prepaid care package

As long as the prepaid care packages are purchased before 23 May 2022, they will be honoured at the current prices. There will be no interruptions to any current visit bookings you may have with us. Any future changes to visit bookings for packages purchased before 23 May 2022 will also follow the current prices.

What should I do next?

To lock in the current prices, you are encouraged to make your visit bookings (for a la carte visits) or purchase your prepaid packages before 23 May 2022. 

Visit bookings (for a la carte visits) that are made or changed or prepaid packages that are purchased after 23 May 2022 will be charged at the revised prices.

Why is Homage increasing the prices of its services?

Prices of Homage services have not increased since we started in 2017. With rising costs and a manpower crunch in the healthcare industry, this price update allows us to continue to deliver high-quality care to our customers. 

With the price update, there will be improvements to our system processes and better training for our Care Professionals. This will help improve the overall quality and efficiency of the care services you and your loved ones will receive.

Are other companies raising their prices too?

Prices of Homage services have not increased since we started in 2017. The current price update is in line with the general market trend in the healthcare industry.

Will the price updates apply to all Homage services?

Price updates are only applicable to Personal Care, Personal Care & Simple Nursing and Speech Therapy services.

There will be no changes in price for the following services:

  • In-Person Care Assessment
  • Complex Nursing Procedures
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Home Medical
  • Telemedicine
  • Private Ambulance

When will the price changes take effect?

The price changes for Personal Care, Personal Care & Simple Nursing and Speech Therapy services will take effect on 23 May 2022.

New ala-carte visit bookings and package purchases will be subjected to the revised prices from 23 May 2022 onwards.

How will I be notified of the price updates?

You will be notified of a price update 4 weeks in advance. Prior to the update, Homage will send you emails to notify you of the change.

Price updates will also be prominently displayed on the Homage Care App.

 

How do surcharges work?

Our standard hourly surcharge is applicable to weeknights, weekends and public holidays on top of base prices. 

The surcharge applies to both prepaid packages and ala carte hourly rates. 

Personal Care surcharges:

  • Weeknight (Mon-Fri, 9pm-6am): $1 per hour
  • Weekend: $1 per hour
  • Public holiday: $4 per hour

Personal Care & Simple Nursing surcharges:

  • Weeknight (Mon-Fri, 9pm-6am): $2 per hour
  • Weekend: $2 per hour
  • Public holiday: $5 per hour

Weeknights and weekends surcharges are not applicable on public holidays. 

A $5 transport surcharge is still applicable for all 1-2 hour Personal Care and Personal Care & Simple Nursing bookings.

Is there any added benefit for your service since the prices have increased?

With the price update, you can look forward to better quality care, improved app features and a more seamless care journey with us.

Homage services have evolved and improved over the years. Beyond improving the quality of our Care Professionals via specialised trainings, many improvements such as the launch of new app features, better matching systems, automated notifications and secure payment functions have been introduced, enabling us to provide better care to you and your loved ones each day.

I’m currently on ala-carte visits, how would these price updates affect me?

You can still enjoy ala-carte visits at the current pricing, as long as visit bookings are done before 23 May 2022.

The revised price updates will take effect from 23 May 2022.

I’m currently holding a prepaid package, how would these price updates affect me?

Customers with existing prepaid packages will not be affected. Your existing package will be honoured at the current pricing till the expiration date of the package.

There will also be no interruptions to any current visit bookings you may have with us.

Packages that are purchased from 23 May 2022 will be charged at the revised pricing.

Can I purchase multiple packages before the revised prices kick in?

Yes, you may do so. Please note that each package purchased is valid for only 30 days from the date of purchase, so do remember to put up your booking requests in advance before your package expires.

Am I eligible for any subsidies or grants for Homage services?

There are grants available to help mitigate the cost of caregiving in Singapore.
