Clinical Educator
Location: Singapore
Type: Full-time
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Clinical Educator will be part of our Clinical team to plan, execute, and evaluate training activities to ensure the effective delivery of training programs to staff so that they are able to provide high quality nursing care
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training and Development
- Ensure the curriculum for training courses are updated with current nursing practices
- Collaborate with other business units to identify, examine, plan, execute and evaluate clinical practices and training required
- Plan, deliver and evaluate onboarding programs for new Care Professionals (Nurses and Caregivers)
- Work with Care Specialists in all aspects of work related to educational areas
- Participate in recruitment of nursing students at career talks and exhibitions, providing career counseling
- Promote Clinical Practice and Standards
- Review and validate competency related policies and procedures regularly to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based clinical practice
- Identify critical clinical skills for annual staff competency audit and clinical performance evaluation in line with organizational needs
- Secondary Responsibilities
- Participate in workgroup and committee activities as delegated by supervisor
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with minimum 2-year of clinical teaching
- Certified and valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and AED
- Certificate in Training and Assessment (i.e ACTA / ACLP)
- Registration with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Nursing
- Advanced-Diploma in Nursing (Community Health / Nephro-Uro) will be preferred
