Head of Operations (Strategic Projects)

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Homage is currently working with government and private partner organisations in the healthcare sector on various strategic projects, utilising Homage’s technology and supply capabilities to increase efficiency in the industry. We are hiring a Head of Operations (Strategic Projects) who will be responsible in owning and driving the operational aspects of these projects in line with the commercial agreements and Homage’s internal operational protocols.

 

The Head of Operations (Strategic Projects) will be responsible for overseeing all active strategic projects, which include and will not be limited to:

  • Government: Interim Care Service
  • Special Projects: Swab assignments, Vaccination centres, Covid Treatment Facilities 

 

The Head of Operations (Strategic Projects) will also be responsible for building and managing a strong and effective fulfilment-based operations function to drive business outcomes and achieve fulfilment targets. He/she will also be working closely with our Product & Engineering team to incorporate tech automation to achieve end-to-end fulfilment automation. 

 

You will be reporting to our Head of Operations (Singapore) and will work closely with Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing and Technology teams to deliver fulfilment requirements and to achieve business goals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the operations teams of the various Strategic Projects in ensuring fulfilment and strategic delivery of services
  • Initiate and develop digitalisation transformation to the end-to-end fulfilment operation work process which includes the understanding of demand (customer) and supply (workforce) requirement, hence developing a fully automated platform to serve the needs of facility-based customer
  • Define forward looking strategic operational and resourcing plans in line with  operational targets and implementation timelines
  • Plan, communicate, and implement operational policies and ensure compliance to internal protocols and operating standards
  • Lead cross-functional team to optimise operating and fulfilment models and ensure projects can be implemented and delivered according to requirements
  • Maintain operational readiness and strive for excellence in service delivery while allocating resources and maintaining adherence to budgets. 
  • Contribute to solution development with partners for potential opportunities, including effective negotiation of complex partnerships and technical agreements
  • Own, manage and refine overall standards and playbook for Strategic Project operations, including workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
  • Build a effective and outcomes-driven SOP and consistently iterates for efficiency and goal optimisation 
  • Review the operational structure periodically to ensure financial, functional, and service quality targets are consistently met
  • Planning of employees’ development and training and gathering feedback to help employees achieve both the organisation and their individual professional goals

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6 to 8 of experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience with implementation of operational projects and project management in the public sector
  • Prior experience in operational leadership setting up procedures, policies, and cadence to manage large scale initiatives
  • Comfortable working with data and using it to drive decisions
  • Strong Commercial Sense, driven by a desire to make a significant positive impact with high levels of integrity and consistency and dependability.
  • Prior experience in healthcare and/or government sector and/or fast-paced and high growth startups is a plus
  • Extremely results-driven and execution-focused, motivated and entrepreneurial; ability to own outcomes and make things happen with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and able to liaise with senior members of government agencies and organisations
