Finance Associate

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 

Type: Full-time 



Homage is looking for a dynamic Finance Associate to perform general accounting duties, maintain complete sets of financial records, keep track of accounts, and verify the accuracy of procedures used for recording financial transactions. The Finance Associate will be responsible for Accounts Receivables, Office Management and General Administration in Homage. You ensure all billings are timely and accurate and will work collaboratively with our Care Advisory Team to address all customers’ queries. You will ensure all office administrative matters within Homage are addressed.



  • Ensure timely and accurate billings of invoices
  • Follow up closely on clients’ queries
  • Follow up closely on all outstanding payments
  • Issue statement of accounts to clients
  • Prepare AR ageing reports
  • Perform financial accounting and bookkeeping; prepare ledger entries as well as monthly and quarterly closing accounts
  • Support in invoicing, accounts receivables and payment/expense management functions, including vendor payments and expense reimbursements
  • Continuously improve and optimize our financial workflows and conventions and use existing technology tools and applications to increase efficiency and automation
  • Support Homage’s external financial consultant in preparation of annual financial statements and any external audit requirements
  • Support tax filing and collaboration with tax agents
  • Process and ensure employees’ expense claims are in line with company’s policy
  • Support the processing and execution of operating expense and claims
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager



  • Diploma/Bachelor in Accounting with a major in Finance with 3-4 years of relevant experience in lieu
  • Excels in a fast-paced, high growth and rapidly changing technology-driven environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - we're a fast growing business and there's always grey areas, which is part of the fun. You should be comfortable with it and understand not everything is 100% defined all the time
  • Meticulous, organised and attentive to details in the midst of a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment – Start-up experience a plus
  • Proficient and comfortable with adopting technology and software tools (Microsoft Office, web/mobile applications etc.)
  • Good command of English Language
