Cancer happens when unusual cells in your body grow out of control, and spread to other parts of the body. This affects the normal body function, causing you to feel weak, pain and tired.

As a general rule, a lower stage (stage 1 or 2) means that the cancer has not spread or show signs of spreading. A higher stage (stage 3 or 4) means that the cancer has spread to further parts of the body.

Depending on the stage of cancer, your loved one may receive different treatments, such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. The cancer journey may be a difficult time for your loved one and you. Reach out when you need support and care.
